Well, it's the new year now , looking forward to the gig in Manchester on Sunday 27th Jan at "Matt and Fred's". There's an acoustic half hour spot with me and Louis on the piano at the Mac Bar opposite Camden Road British Rail station at 3.30 on Sunday 10th February. On Saturday the 23rd Feb , I'm playing with the great fifties artist Huelyn Duvall at the Worker's Club in Camden. We'll be attending the Rockabilly Rave 1st of March til 3rd, Lyn's birthday on the 15th March will be celebrated in true Boorer style with a bash at the 12 bar welcoming the return of the fantastic Sonny George. Then we've booked our flights for the Vegas rockabilly bash , which'll mean a solo show in Fais do-dos on Friday the 23rd of March, then the next night will be a full rockabilly show at the same venue [hopefully]. That's it for now - oh, The Deltas are in Hamburg April 6th. Update: Boz will be playing saxophone as part of a Gene Vincent Tribute Night on 9th Feb at the legendary Ace Cafe off North Circular road in London. |

The Fais Do Do 2001 Very unfortunately, all Adam Ant's performances on the "Here and now" tour have been cancelled due to reasons that were highly publicised so we won't repeat them here..... The next thing to look forward to is the annual festival in Kilkenny where Boz will be performing with "Boz and friends". Details of that will follow soon. And on a personal note, here's a message from Boz to certain people he knows: "During the night in L.A. there were two contacts made - I lost Eddie who introduced me to Pacifico Beer and Roland Gonzalez whom I was supposed to ring but mislaid his number. If anyone could get them for me it would be much appreciated". If you can help, please email. Here's pictures from the show in L.A..... Here's a short report and pictures from the Deltas show in Hamburg.... |

LONDON TRIBUTE CONCERT DETAILS Monday 23 September 2002, at 20:00 Official commentary: Kirsty's work laid claim to our affections with its very English mixture of acerbic wit and wry social commentary. Kirsty had hits with her own songs -'There's A Guy Works Down The Chip Shop Swears He's Elvis', wrote hits for others, including 'They Don't Know' for Tracey Ullman, made inspired choices in covering others' songs which turned them into classics - Ray Davies 'Days' and Billy Bragg's 'New England' and picked just the right musicians with whom to make noteable collaborations - The Pogues with 'Fairytale of New York' and Johnny Marr with 'Electric Landlady'. With a band under the direction of Kirsty's musical collaborators Pete Glenister and Dave Ruffy, special guests, including Brian Kennedy, Mary Coughlan, Johnny Marr and Roddy Frame will the celebrate her marvellous musical legacy. (Note: Boz will be part of this too) ---------------------------------------------------------- august 02 - update! To almost end the year.....
...we'd like to thank everyone who visited our site so vividly during the Morrissey tour. Please stay faithful to us, as we're updating constantly and it's sure worth coming back anytime. So what's Boz up to these days?? He's taking a well-deserved rest after the exhausting Mozzer world tour, well, a rest the Boorer way that is: that means, he can be seen this Tuesday, the 26th Nov at Dingwalls, Camden Town around 9 PM as part of the Dyslexia awareness benefit, performing some acoustic numbers with old mate Andy Ellison from John's Children. Moving towards Christmas, the Boz Boorer Allstars will be holding a Christmas Bash at the Golden Lion on Pratt st. on Sunday the 22nd of December. John's Children will be playing at the Monarch on the 28th of December, then Boz and Lyn will be performing in Frankfurt/Germany on the 30th of December with the Folsom Four, and on the 31st with Sonny George. Sounds like a crackin' New Year's for the Frankfurters... That's it for a newsflash, be sure there's more to come.... |
